Take This Vitamin to Repel Mosquitoes All Summer Long


We all love summer, sandy beaches and longer days, but nobody likes the mosquitoes that are also a part of it. Since 1956 the mosquito repellent has been present on the market, so for most people this is not a big problem. But, on the other hand, there are people for whom this is a big deal, though. DEET is the main active ingredient in sprays which can have pretty serious side-effects on some individuals. If you belong to this group of people, taking vitamin B1 is the right thing for you.

Vitamin B1 is also known as thiamine, is an important mineral for the body. It plays an important role in boosting immunity and fighting stress. It is usually found in foods like brown rice, eggs, oatmeal, liver, yeast, asparagus, and kale.

You do not have to worry if you take too much of it, because any excess gets eliminated through urination, just like with any other water-soluble vitamin.

All natural mosquito repellent


  • Cooled boiled water
  • ½ tsp of witch hazel
  • 15 drops of tea tree oil
  • 15 drops of lavender oil


Take an 8oz spray bottle and fill it halfway with the cool boiled water. Add the witch hazel, tea tree oil, and lavender oil. You can use the repellent when you need it.
