Amazingly, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) provided a report posted in theJournal of the American Medical Association(JAMA) in 28 August 2013 titled “Overdiagnosis and Overtreatment in Cancer – An Opportunity for Improvement”.
As a published journal report from the most benign federal health agency in the USA, it could only recommend common sense guidelines based on reality to avoid throwing folks into chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and even surgery unnecessarily.
Why benign? The NCI has reported that cannabis shows positive signs for curbing cancer. See that report here.
Second Opinion Requests for Kids May Lead to Medical Kidnapping
Perhaps the NCI is too benign for Big Pharma, the AMA, and its cancer industry. It was published over two years ago at the time of this writing, and apparently it’s business as usual for the cancer industry today.
More and more medical patients are being pushed into chemotherapy and radiation or unnecessary surgeries without pause or second opinion from other sources.
Even worse, if a parent requests a second opinion for a child (18 or under) diagnosed with cancer, there’s a likelihood the child will be court ordered to be taken by Child Protective Service and administered chemo or radiation therapy against the wishes of the child and family.
And today more than ever, more kids have been diagnosed with cancer. I’ve also noticed that medical kidnapping for cancer treatments has increased over those past couple of years. Perhaps the fear of a false or premature diagnosis threatens the hospital or clinic’s bottom line.
According to this NCI report in the highly respected JAMA, that is highly probable. Goodness gracious, perhaps one of those alternative cancer therapies outside mainstream oncology could be discovered. That would be a total revenue loss for the system of cut, burn, and poison.
The norm today is to be rushed into those harsh carcinogenic therapies. No time to reconsider or get a second opinion. That’s the business model side of our so called health industry, no matter how painful, dangerous, and ineffective the treatment, which usually leads to a recurrence of cancer in a few years or less.
Cancer stem cells, which are capable of reproducing more cancer cells, remain after chemo and radiation, often creating cancers more resistant to treatment.
UCLA Jonnsson Comprehensive Cancer Center research discovered that radiation therapy “transformed breast cancer cells into highly malignant cancer stem-cell like cells, with 30 times high malignancy post-treatment.”
After chemo or radiation treatments, the patient’s immune system is weakened, and the patient is left with no dietary or lifestyle change instructions to avoid cancer again. After all, a cured patient is a lost customer.
Notes and Excerpts from the Mostly Ignored NIC 2013 Report
The report mentions how early screening over the past 30 years has not resulted in a decline in late stage cancers. Interestingly, it describes how not all cancers lead to certain death. It even discusses how many may survive actual cancers without much impairment to a normal life.
From the NCI report:
“The word “cancer” often invokes the specter of an inexorably lethal process; however, cancers are heterogeneous and can follow multiple paths, not all of which progress to metastases and death, and include indolent disease that causes no harm during the patient’s lifetime. Better biology alone can explain better outcomes.”
Remember, the NCI report mentions both over diagnosis and over treatment, not just over diagnosis. In other words, those harsh interventions pushed harshly may be totally unnecessary.
Of course, most alternative health readers know there are many options, including the cannabis mentioned in a more recent NCI report as well as other dietary and natural even DIY approaches that are available from the CancerTutor.com.
From the NCI report: “Physicians, patients, and the general public must be aware that over diagnosis and over treatment is common and occurs more frequently with cancer screening.”
Take that “Komen for the Cure” with your early screening “to save lives” from GE mammogram machines that are actually also carcinogenic. Perhaps huge donations from GE have something to do with that.
The NCI mentions that breast cancer is among the over diagnosed and over treated diseases, take that too Komen, along with prostate, thyroid, and even lung cancers.
The report also urges changing “cancer diagnostics based on companion diagnostics”, which include precancerous observations that use the word cancer for lesions that are actually more precancerous or non-malignant.
Of course, the NCI isn’t recommending DIY alternatives offered by the Cancer Tutor online or going to Mexico or Germany for safe, sane, and effective treatments. But you should be aware that even within a government agency, there is this awareness that the cancer industry is a bit overzealous and profit motivated.
According to Sayer Ji of GreenMedInfo.com who originally disclosed the NCI report:
“Our entire world view of cancer needs to shift from an enemy that ‘attacks’ us and that we must wage war against, to something our body does, presumably to survive an increasingly inhospitable, nutrient-deprived, carcinogen- and radiation-saturated environment.”
This NCI report strongly implies that over the last 30 years or more, millions have suffered harsh expensive sometimes lethal treatments unnecessarily. Unfortunately, many are frightened into those conventional treatments first, diminishing their immune systems and lessening the favorable odds of recovering with natural treatments that are both safe and more effective.
We do have the right and usually the time to get second opinions and seek alternatives to what mainstream oncology fraudulently insists is the only treatment available or you’ll die sooner rather than later.
